What is included in the quote?
You may get a very reasonable quote for your catering; there is usually a reason why - you don’t want to find out on the day that crockery isn't included!
What happens if the generator stops?
Is there a water supply, can they bring their own if not?
Have you booked a catering tent with the marquee supplier?
Is the Champagne or wine that you supplied chilled?
Are crockery / linen / staff / travel / glasses included in the quote?
Are they trading from a residential property or have they invested in a proper business unit?
Before you book your wedding caterer, call us for an formal chat.
We are more than happy to offer advice and help you with your special day, whether it’s helping to chill the champagne you have supplied, or catering for your guest with that special dietary requirement that you can’t pronounce!
Where marquees are concerned, we can advise you on the electrical power requirements and generator suppliers, the best and most reliable marquee companies, table & chair hire, chair cover hire, venue styling, and so much more.
Do they have the expertise, equipment, staff, vehicles, knowledge, experience and staying power to supply quality catering, usually under challenging working conditions (sometimes in a tent in a field!)
In short: can they cope?
Do they have public liability insurance?
Do they have the full team of experienced, professional uniformed waiting staff?

Can they supply references?
Are their chefs qualified (City & Guilds)?
Can you visit them during a function?
Can you try the food at their premises?
